
Vorwerk, Earlybird lead €5m round for Crossengage
A consortium of VC firms led by Vorwerk Ventures and Earlybird Venture Capital has led a €5m funding round for Berlin-based marketing technology company Crossengage.
Existing investors Project A, IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft, Cavalry Ventures, 42 Capital, Capnamic Ventures, Ventech and TA Ventures also took part in the round.
The fresh capital will be used to optimise the platform and expand internationally. Crossengage already began operating in London in September 2017 with the hiring of Dan McKinnon as UK head of sales.
Previous funding
Crossengage raised a seven-digit seed round with backing from Project A, Capnamic, IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft, Heilemann Ventures, Ventech, TA Ventures, Voltage Ventures and other private investors and business angels in 2016.

Founded in 2015 and based in Berlin, Crossengage provides a cloud-based software that enables companies to direct their marketing campaigns across different channels. The co-ordinated appeals are distributed through e-mail, Facebook, Whatsapp and postcards. The company has 46 employees.
