
DN Capital leads €8m round for Book a Tiger
VC house DN Capital has led an €8m funding round for Berlin-based cleaning services digital platform Book a Tiger.
The funding round is part of a larger series-B round and saw new investors Atami Capital and venture debt provider Davidson Technology Growth join existing investors DN and Target Global.
According to a statement, the company aims to use the fresh capital to further develop its product and expand internationally.
Previous funding
DN initially led a seven-figure seed funding round for the Berlin-based business in July 2014. The GP invested via DN Capital Global Venture Capital III, alongside international institutional investors and business angels.
Six months later, Target Global and DN led a $5m series-A round in December 2014.
More recently, media group Tamedia led a new multi-million euro round of funding for the business in March 2015. Tamedia invested alongside previous backers DN, Target Ventures and Avala Capital.
Company
Book a Tiger develops an online portal for facility services, focusing on traditional cleaning and supply provision. The latter includes sanitary and kitchen supplies, food provision, and catering. The company focuses mainly on the business-to-business market but also provides services for private households.
Founded in 2014, Book a Tiger is based in Berlin and has a presence in 20 other cities across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
