
HTGF and Impact51 back DearEmployee
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Impact51 have invested a seven-figure sum in corporate mental health startup DearEmployee.
DearEmployee said in a statement that it plans to use the fresh capital to expand in Europe and to new international markets.
Impact51 is a business angel partnership that focuses on technology-backed B2B companies.
HTGF generally invests €500,000-2m for minority stakes in Germany-based companies with revenues of up to €10m operating in the technology sector. The venture capital firm has made 26 investments in the software sector this year, according to Unquote Data.

DearEmployee is a software platform that allows employers to measure their employees' workplace stress. Employers can use this data to implement strategies to tackle stress and burnout, connecting them with external consultants.
The business was founded by Amelie Wiedemann, Daniel Fodor and Henning Jakob in September 2017. The business began as a spinout from Freie Universität Berlin.
The company's client base consists of 90 corporates, including banks, manufacturing companies and public authorities. It has six employees, according to LinkedIn.
