
Gimv and Siemens invest €10m in PE International
Gimv and Siemens venture vehicle SFS VC have invested €10m in PE International, a Germany-based sustainability consultancy firm and sustainability software provider.
The fresh capital will enable the company to invest in product research and development.
Following the deal, Friedrich Fröschl, who was previously a member of the Siemens executive board, has been appointed to the PE International board of directors.
Gimv has recently exited several of its portfolio companies. Since June, the company has sold stakes in Barco, Movea, dcinex and Covagen.

Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Stuttgart, PE International is a sustainability consultancy firm. It has 1,500 clients including BASF, Hewlett-Packard, Kraft Foods and Volkswagen. The company has operations in 16 cities across the globe including Vienna, Zurich, Copenhagen, London and Istanbul.
