
DN Capital leads $5m series-A for Book A Tiger
DN Capital has led a $5m series-A round for portfolio company Book A Tiger, a Germany-based home cleaning platform.
The company, set up by Delivery Hero co-founders Claude Ritter and Nikita Fahrenholz, plans to use the funds to bolster its activities and market share in Germany.
Avala Capital and other existing investors also took part in the round, alongside new backer Target Ventures.
Previous funding
In July 2014, DN led a seven-figure seed funding round for the business via the DN Capital Global Venture Capital III vehicle, alongside international institutional investors and business angels.
Company
Headquartered in Berlin and founded in April 2014, Book A Tiger is a web and app-based platform allowing users to source home cleaners. Since DN’s initial investment, the service has expanded its offering from three cities – Berlin, Frankfurt and Hamburg – to 32 towns and cities.
