
Reus exits Spanish videogames specialist LVP in €22m deal
Reus Capital Partners has sold its stake in Fandroid, the owner of professional videogames league operator Liga de Videojuegos Profesional (LVP) to Spanish media group Mediapro.
In addition to Reus's stake, Mediapro – which already controlled around 50% in the company – acquired the remaining shares from electronic products retailer Ticnova, becoming the sole shareholder in Fandroid. The total amount paid by the media company for the acquisition was €22m.
Previous funding
Reus invested in Fandroid in 2013. Subsequently, Mediapro acquired a stake of around 50% in the company in 2016.

Established in 2009, Fandroid controls professional videogames league operator LVP. The company is headquartered in Madrid with offices in Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, México City and London. LVP co-organises Gamergy, a prominent video game event held in Spain.
