
K Fund et al. in €3m round for Bob.io
A consortium of investors has injected €3m into Madrid-based Bob.io, a tech-enabled service providing a luggage check-in service.
Previous Spanish investors K Fund and Big Sur Ventures, alongside international investors GAA Investments and TA Ventures, took part in the round. Business angels Andreas Mihalovits and Carlos Domingo also participated.
The startup will use funding to expand internationally and continue developing new services, including a door-to-door service.

Headquartered in Madrid, Bob.io is a technology company that helps travellers to check in bags for a flight from home. Since its launch in 2017, the company has signed commercial agreements with international airlines with an intention to target 70% of the total air passengers in Madrid and Barcelona. The company has 23 employees, according to LinkedIn.
