
La Caixa et al. invest in Miscota
La Caixa et al. have invested €500,000 in Spanish online retailer of pet products Miscota, completing a €1m financing round that started in July.
The second installment also included investors ENISA, IFEM and a group of business angels. La Caixa invested from Caixa Capital Risc.
The company plans to expand internationally, targeting eight European countries outside Spain where it is already an online reference shop. The structuring and fund raising process was led by Intelectium.

Miscota is an online pet products retailer founded in Mataró earlier this year. The company already has an international presence in France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, Poland and the Netherlands. Its monthly sales figures are around €140,000.
