Inveready, Clave Mayor inject €900,000 into Kronomav
Spanish robotics firm Kronomav Sistemas has raised €900,000 from Inveready, existing backer Clave Mayor, government-backed innovation bank Enisa and the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism.
Inveready committed debt and equity from the Venture Finance vehicle, which launched in 2012 with €15m. Clave Mayor invested via Comval Emprende, launched in 2006 by the Finance Institute of Valencia. The vehicle has completed its investment period and holds five remaining companies in its portfolio.
The fresh funding will boost the firm's plans for international expansion.
Previous funding
In 2008, Clave Mayor bought a minority stake in the firm in a deal valued at €1m. The transaction took three months to complete and began when the company approached the VC to develop its business plan. Clave Mayor invested from Comval Emprende.
