
GED Capital invests in Senerest
Spanish private equity house GED Capital has invested €4.5m in low-cost restaurant franchise Senerest.
The company is looking to expand in Portugal and Spain, and open between 16 to 20 new Burger King restaurants in the next two years. GED is convinced that the low-cost fast-food restaurant sector offers an excellent growth opportunity.

Founded in 2003, Senerest is a restaurant franchise company that owns four Burger King franchises, three Tagliatella and one Foster's Hollywood. In 2010, the firm generated a turnover of €7.32m and an EBITDA of €800,000. Senerest is based in Madrid and currently employs around 140 people.
