
Nauta injects $3.4m into ABA English
Nauta Capital has made a $3.4m equity commitment to ABA English, a Barcelona-based online language learning platform.
The fresh funding will be used to accelerate ABA's international expansion, boost marketing and internal resources, and develop a mobile offering.
Nauta is currently preparing to raise its fourth fund, targeting €100-150m. The vehicle will invest in the UK, Spain and the east coast of the US, targeting companies in business-to-business software, digital media, data and information security, and mobile and internet technologies.
Recent investments include a €2.8m commitment to sales management software systems business ForceManager.

Launched in 2013 and based in Barcelona, ABA is an online language learning platform for the English language. In its first year, the business reached 1 million students in 170 countries, with a particularly strong presence in Spain, Italy, France, Brazil and Mexico.
