NETHERLANDS - Madinvest et al divest Arcomet
Madinvest, NPM, GIMV and Sofinim have sold their holdings in crane company Arcomet to the management, including the CEO, who already holds 60%. Sofina and LPFI provided a mezzanine debt package to support the acquisition.
BELGIUM - GIMV doubles stake in Scana Noliko
GIMV has doubled its stake from 46.3% to 92.6% in Scana Noliko, a Belgium producer of preserved food, taking over the stake of LRM, which invested in the company in 2000. GIMV originally acquired backed Scana Noliko in 2004.
BELGIUM - 3i sells ABX LOGISTICS for EUR 750m
3i has sold ABX LOGISTICS Worldwide to DSV, the Nordic region's biggest trucking company, for EUR 750m. In March 2005, 3i acquired a majority stake in ABX from Belgium's national railway company, SNCB Holding.
