DN Capital leads Purplebricks round
DN Capital has invested in Purplebricks, a UK online estate agency start-up, alongside private investors Paul Pindar and Martin Bolland.
The funding round was described as a multi-million pound investment. Purplebricks' platform is set to launch in April.
Pinder was until recently the CEO of UK business process outsourcing company Capita.
DN Capital recently took part in a $2.4m funding round for Luxodo, a German online luxury clothing retail platform, alongside b-to-v Partners in November last year.
Company
Founded in 2012, Purplebricks has developed an online estate agency platform that is designed to allow customers to have 24-hour access and support for transactions. The company has a team of "local property experts" who provide support for customers.
Customers looking to sell property can book a free valuation and pay a fixed fee for a written description, floor plan, photos and listings on major property sites to be provided by Purplebricks.
People
Michael Bruce is the CEO of Purplebricks and founded the company alongside Kenny Bruce. DN Capital managing partner Nenad Marovac will join the company's board of directors following the deal.
