
3i promotes 10 across worldwide team

3i, the London-headquartered mid-market firm, has promoted 10 members of its team worldwide.
Xavier de Prevoisin (pictured) and Pete Wilson have been promoted to partners in France and the UK respectively.
De Prevoisin joined the firm's portfolio development team in 2000 before being promoted to director on the private equity team in 2003. He currently has a seat on the board at Etanco, the French building fasteners manufacturer that 3i acquired from IK Investment Partners in 2011. He has a post-graduate degree from University of Paris Dauphine and a master's degree from the University of Paris Assas.
Wilson joined the firm in 2006 and leads its operations in the UK business services sector. He currently has seats on the boards at environmental consultancy SLR Consulting, in which 3i acquired a minority stake in 2008, and ESG. Wilson has a management science degree from the University of Warwick.
The firm's other European promotions include Guillaume Basquin, Giovanna Maag and Olivier van Riet Paap, who have been promoted to director positions in France, Germany and Benelux respectively. Alexandre Chaton in France and Andreas Gold in Germany have been promoted to associate director and Javier Onieva has been promoted to senior associate in Spain.
