FRANCE - Oséo backs EUR 580,000 Neli financing
Start-up business Neli Technologies, which develops technology for the digital television sector, has secured EUR 580,000 in new financing, with EUR 260,000 coming from Oséo, EUR 220,000 from business angels, EUR 100,000 from Bretagne Jeunes Entreprises, and EUR 8,000 from the Institut Télécom Fund.
The Rennes-based company, founded in 2007, develops technology enabling digital television transmission through small set-top boxes. The first box is plugged into the ariel socket and communicates the signal to other televisions in the area, thus removing the need for other televisions to be attached to an ariel socket.
The company has four employees and will start the commercialisation of its product in 2009.
