Atlantic Labs, B10 back Enway
Atlantic Labs and B10 have invested in a seven-digit funding round for Berlin-based autonomous vehicle software developer Enway.
The exact value of the round has not been disclosed but it is less than €5m, according to a source close to the situation.
Enway will complete its first public test runs with street sweeping vehicles and waste trucks in Europe and Asia in Q2 2018. It will also expand the team from seven to 10-15 by the end of the year.
Company
Founded in 2017 and based in Berlin, Enway develops software for autonomous vehicles such as street sweepers. It has a partnership with Berlin's cleaning department, which has helped the company develop application scenarios for street sweepers.
Its software is designed to allow human workers to cooperate with and give commands to the vehicles using hand gestures or a handheld device. The company currently employs seven people.
