
Quantonation, HTGF et al. back CHF 2.6m round for Qnami
Quantonation, High-Tech Gründerfonds, Investiere and ZKB Start-up Finance have backed a CHF 2.6m seed round for Swiss quantum technology business Qnami.
The round also drew investment from undisclosed business angels.
The fresh capital will be used to finance the launch of Qnami's first product, a quantum microscope used to examine magnetic materials at the nano scale.
Quantonation participates in seed and early-stage private rounds for companies specialising in quantum technologies.
HTGF has also invested in quantum technology recently, participating in the €2.3m round for HQS Quantum Simulations, as reported by Unquote in October.
Swiss VCs Investiere and ZKB both participated in the $45m series-B funding round for Swiss remote working software developer Beekeeper in September.

Qnami creates products to enable analysis of materials on the nanoscale, with applications in nano magneitsm, nano electronics and nano thermometry, for use in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
The company was founded in 2017 and employs eight staff.
