
BDMI backs Nonabox
Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments (BDMI) has led a funding round for Nonabox, a Spanish online retailer of pregnancy and infancy products.
BDMI makes initial investments of €500,000-3m. Co-investment was provided by Italian VC H-Farm Ventures. Spanish fund Cabiedes & Partners also reinvested in the company.
The fresh capital will fund Nonabox's expansion into German markets.

Cabiedes backed Nonabox in March 2012.
Company
Nonabox is an online retailer of pregnancy and infancy products. The company is subscription-based and sends pregnant women and mothers a monthly box of relevant products including baby clothing, food and toys at a cost of €25 per month.
Nonabox already operates in Spain and Italy, and intends to enter the German market this October.
