Alliance Venture, Target Partners and Investinor have invested up to €7.1m in Swarm64, a data processing company for cloud-based platforms.
The fresh capital will enable the company, which is dual-headquartered in Oslo and Berlin, to launch its product and set up operations in the US market.
Target Partners has a track record of investing in data software companies. In February 2015, the VC invested €2.5m as part of a series-A financing round for Hamburg-based GPredictive.
Springfondet and several angel investors provided NOK 4.5m in seed funding for Swarm64 in August 2013.
Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Oslo and Berlin, Swarm64 develops data processing software and hardware for use in cloud-based analytics and gaming platforms.
Kurt Müller is a partner and co-founder of Target Partners. Jon Øyvind Eriksen is an investment director at Investinor. Bente Loe is a partner at Alliance Venture. Karsten Rönner is CEO of Swarm64.
